Auli is one of the most beautiful hill station in north India, situated in Uttarakhand state. It is 3050 meters above from the sea level and comes in Chamoli district of Uttaranchal (now Uttarakhand). The steep slopes of Auli seem to beckon all the adventure seekers. Auli hill station is at the distance of 16 Km. from Joshimath on Badrinath route. The world famous “Valley of Flowers” is very near from Auli. It is an ideal destination for tourist in winter season. Auli offers a 180 panoramic view of Himalayan peaks like the Nanda Devi (7,817mts.) Kamet (7,756 mts.) Mana Parvat (7,273 mts.) And Dunagiri (7,066 mts.)
Hemkund Sahib: One of the most sacred Sikh pilgrimage place, because Guru Govind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru (spiritual head of the Sikhs), had meditated by the Hemkund Lake in his previous birth. It is also an ideal trekking spot. It is around 28 Km. by road from Joshimath.
Valley of Flowers: It’s a beautiful place in district Chamoli, just 27 Km. from Joshimath. You can see here beautiful flowers of different varieties.
Gurso Bugyal: It is just 3 Kms from Auli, a vast meadow spread among forests of Oak and conifers. It offers a beautiful look of highest Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi and Trishul parvat. The Chattrakund, is located just a kilometer away from here. It is the location of a small sweet water lake by the same name. Gurso Bugyal offers green pastureland during the summer, its snow covered land during winter offer a challenging trek to the adventure lovers.

By Train: The nearest railway stations are Rishikesh, distance is around 250 Kms from Auli.
By Road: Best way to come Auli is to come Joshimath via Rishikesh. It is just 13 Kms away from Joshimath. The State transport buses and private buses regularly run between Joshimath-Rishikesh, Dehradun and Delhi.
