Kaziranga National Park is the title given to the mind blowing success story of the conservation of the 1 Horned India Rhinoceros along with other North Eastern wild species like Heron Fishing Eagle, Egret, Elephants, Tiger, Leopard, Hornbills, Indian Bison, Sloth Bear, Jackal, Goose, Hog Deer, Samber, and many more. It was given a place in the list of the World Heritage Site in the year 1985. This park is located in 2 districts of Assam state of India that are Nagaon and Golaghat. Of course it is one amongst the important natural habitat for the situ conservation of biological biodiversity. This project is of universal value. This park consists of 493.3 Sq.Km. of land area along with extra area of 429.40 Sq.Km.
